This is a spider I found on the deck railing. Notice the little piece of web coming out of its spinneret. The abdomen was about ½ inch in diameter. |
| It kept running away from me, but I did manage to get another shot. Again, there is a little web. The orange markings are actually on both sides of its abdomen. |  |
