Montreal River at bridge

About half a mile south of Mandan off US41 on the east side, there is a good gravel road with a stop sign. This road (which deteriorates rapidly) circles around the end of the peninsula and comes out at the end of US41 east of Copper Harbor. On the south end of the loop, it crosses over the Montreal River twice, on wooden bridges. This is the view looking north from the first of those bridges. |
